What We Do
Alphabet
Children learn letters and sounds through music and fun object lessons. They also learn how to sign each letter of the alphabet in American Sign Language.
Writing
I teach children to write their own names and all the letters of the alphabet. This is the beginning of expressing ideas in writing.
Art
I encourage creativity. Each project reflects the personality and creativity of the individual child. Cutting, pasting, drawing, coloring, and tracing are all important skills for pre-writing development.
We use many kinds of art materials.
Lessons
I teach children to be kind, loving, and patient. I also teach them about animals, insects, science, imagination, manners, sharing, hygiene & much more!
My Approach
I believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, I guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and take pride in their work.
